Helm Baked

Helm Baked has greatly evolved since it’s inception in 2017! Sue Helm has always been an avid baker for her family of six. She steadily crafted every birthday cake, Thanksgiving pie, and afternoon snack cookie for 24 years before her eldest son discovered he had celiac disease, with two other daughters discovering their own celiac diagnoses shortly thereafter. Sue had a new challenge; to recreate those beloved treats to be indiscernibly gluten free. Together with her daughters Sara, Rachael & Shelby, Helm Baked aims to offers a variety of cookies, pies, cakes, tarts, squares, butter tarts, pies & more that will pleasantly surprise even the biggest “gluten free” skeptics!

In early 2023 Helm Baked moved from a certified kitchen in Aylmer, ON to a brick and mortar bakery at 101 Consortium Court in London, ON. Helm Baked has been a vendor at the Covent Garden Outdoor Farmer’s Market since spring 2019. Helm Baked proudly supplies to some of the best cafes in the London area. Although we are a small business, we seek to give back to our community when we can. We have proudly made contributions to the Urban Alliance on Race Relations, LIFE*SPIN, SickKids Foundation, London and area Food Bank, Atlohsa Family Healing Services, and the Ronald McDonald House London.
